Contact Lens Consultation

We will provide you with an appropriate pair of contact lenses and give you time to adapt to them in your everyday environment

What You Need

In order:
  • You will need an up-to-date prescription (within the last 12 months). If you had your sight test at Hepworth & Hall, we will already have a record of this. Otherwise, please bring a copy of your prescription with you.
  • If you are due a sight test, our optician will happily perform this as part of your contact lens trial. Make sure you let us know when you book your appointment!

The Journey

  • The optometrist will discuss your lifestyle and specific needs before advising you about what contact lenses would best suit your requirements.
  • We will provide you with an appropriate pair of contact lenses and then give you some time to get used to them out of the practice environment! When you return to us after a couple of hours, we'll make sure the lenses are fitting correctly and are comfortable.
  • Once you have chosen the most suitable contact lenses, we will teach you how to wear, handle and care for them. We will also provide you with information on lens care to take away.
